vulkro-sf consistency
Compares the metadata of two orgs, typically a sandbox and production, and reports where they have drifted apart.
vulkro-sf consistency ./sandbox-metadata ./prod-metadata
vulkro-sf consistency ./sandbox-metadata ./prod-metadata --format json > drift.json
Each argument is a retrieved metadata folder or an SFDX source tree, one per org. Retrieve each org with your sf CLI first: the command reads local folders only. The comparison is symmetric.
| Finding | Meaning |
|---|---|
SF-MULTIORG-001 | A component in both orgs with different content (a permission set, flow or field that drifted). |
SF-MULTIORG-002 | A component in only one org (a field in production that never reached the sandbox). |
To score the risk of deploying one onto the other, use vulkro-sf diff. For a change log of one org over time, use vulkro-sf metadiff.
| Argument or flag | What it does |
|---|---|
<snapshotA> | First org (for example the sandbox). |
<snapshotB> | Second org (for example production). |
--format <table|json> | Output format. Default table. |
Exit codes
| Code | Meaning |
|---|---|
